Summer Camp in Steger, IL

Ten weeks without school is a long stretch for a child, and a long stretch to cover for a working parent. Early Achievers Preschool and Development Center runs a summer camp in Steger, Illinois that keeps school-age children busy, active, and having fun while classes are out. Space fills up, so early registration is required.

A Summer Spent Doing, Not Waiting

Camp gives kids a reason to get up in the morning during the break. Days are planned and led by our teachers, so children are not left to fill the hours on their own. Between activities there is time outside in our outdoor play area, which makes a big difference on a warm Illinois afternoon.

Hungry campers are covered too. Meals and snacks come from our own on-site kitchen, prepared fresh each day.

Why Early Registration Matters

Our camp has a limited number of slots, and they go to families who sign up early. That is why we ask parents to register ahead of the season rather than waiting until the last week of school.

Planning ahead pays off in another way. Early Achievers Preschool and Development Center offers early registration discounts, and families enrolling more than one child can ask about multi-child discounts. We also accept Illinois Action for Children.

The Same Center Families Already Know

For many campers, summer is simply a change of pace at a place they already know. Children in our before and after school care spend the school year with the same staff and in the same building. Younger brothers and sisters may already be down the hall in our preschool and child care rooms, which keeps family drop-off to a single stop.

Every instructor at Early Achievers Preschool and Development Center is certified in CPR and first aid, and our facility is DCFS licensed. Those standards stay in place all year. The center is open year-round, closing only for major holidays, including Independence Day.
